Open day vs applicant day
An open day is for anyone considering a university. An applicant day, also called an offer holder day, is for people who have applied and usually hold an offer.
Summary
- Open days are open to people who are still deciding. Cambridge's undergraduate open day lists Year 12 students, parents and supporters, teachers and advisers among its audiences.
- Applicant days are by invitation. Sheffield's offer holder days are booked through the link in the invitation email.
- City St George's, University of London limited its 2025 medicine offer holder day to students who hold offers for its medicine courses.
